This is definitely a "bang for your buck" hike. Hikers are rewarded with beautiful 360 views for a relatively short hike. An awesome hike in the fall as the leaves approach peak!

Definitely an awesome spot to watch/shoot the sunset, but as mentioned it is very popular. If you're hoping to set up a tripod and get some good shots I'd recommend getting there an hour before sunset because it fills up quick.

My first winter 4k -- a great choice. Views from Starr King make up for Waumbek's wooded summit.

Like Kelly mentioned, this is a great hike to start with if you're new to the White Mountains. Beautiful views at the summit. I would highly recommend taking the short detour to South Peak on your way down--more awesome views!

Nice hike as it is less popular than the nearby state parks. Beautiful waterfall as well!

Love visiting Devil's Kettle and thinking about the mystery of where the water flows to! Scenic views of the river along the way.

I love that this is in the middle of Duluth. Ever-changing photo opportunities with the varying seasons and water levels.

Easily accessible from Hwy 13. Usually not a very large flow of water.

The trailhead on trail dr off of County C just before Cornucopia is now well-marked. An improvement project resulted in new boardwalks over drainages, gravel spreading in wet areas, a larger parking lot, and signs along the trail. 3 miles round trip. Very nice trail and beautiful falls!

The paved trail and short distance makes this hike particularly attractive to visitors and thus the area is often crowded. Worth the stop -- great falls to explore!

Artists point has incredible opportunities for sunrise and sunset. Lots of different rock formations allowing for unique compositions each time. A must visit if you're in the area!

I enjoy Minnehaha Falls even more when it's frozen! It's awesome to explore behind the falls, but there's been "talk" of more enforcement of the do not enter sign.

My dad and I did the double-time tour when we went and it was definitely worth it (and needed). This was one of my favorite parts of our Southwest trip! Highly recommend taking the time and money to make this happen.
