Rumpl Chillmono Limited Edition Review
The legendary, chillest, warmest, relaxingest coatblanket deserves its accolades.
When Rumpl forever changed the camp/glamping coziness game with their Puffy Blanket in 2014 it was only a matter of time before they took their lightweight DWR (durable water repellent) nylon ripstop fabric with quilting to other products.
The Chillmono, originally conceived as a limited run, took the concept to its natural conclusion: a phenomenally warm coat as equally comfortable and flexible indoors as it was outdoors.
It sold out almost immediately but is back in a limited edition run just in time for the holidays. The Outbound team was fortunate enough to get our hands on two for our 2018 Holiday Lookbook and they more than live up to the hype.
The very definition of "cozy", "warm", "comfortable" and yes, "useful", the Chillmono was easily the most in-demand and beloved product of our Lookbook shoot, whether standing on cliffs overlooking the Pacific or gathered around the campfire for morning coffee or even while doing stand-up-paddleboard, the Chillmono was perfect.
