Whitefish offers a variety of terrain, amazing tree skiing, and powder. You'll also get great Glacier National Park views from the mountain. Did I mention powder?

Whitefish Mountain Resort is located on Big Mountain, just a 10 minute drive from downtown Whitefish. The resort hasn't left it's mom and pop roots, even though it is up to date with state of the art equipment, the hometown local vibe prevails.

Reviews

"Big Mountain" (to the locals) is the ski hill in NW Montana. Great terrain from powder to groomed runs to terrain parks.

I went on an "icy" day. Locals were complaining about the conditions, but by east coast standards, I'd call it powder.
