Ski or Snowboard Pink Pine Ridge
Sandy, Utah
Description
Added by Andy Earl
Tree Skiing. Chutes. Powder. 2 mile hike with 1,227' elevation gain.
Arrive at the White Pine Trailhead early and start up from the main trailhead. Stay on that trail until you hit the river (Most of the time the river is buried, so look for a sign sticking up out of the snow) and the fork to go up to White Pine or Red Pine. Cross the river heading west and continue up through the trees to gain the Pink Pine Ridge. Follow the ridge through thick aspens until it opens up into some great tree skiing.
For a more adventurous tour, head all the way up the ridge to a small summit. There will be north east facing chutes dropping down into an open apron.
