Only steps away from Whistler's Village, this easy snowshoe trail is a must if you aren't on the slopes!

Hiding in the shadow of the incredible Whistler Blackcomb Resort is this little park that surrounds Lost Lake. Park in Lot 4 or 5 and walk over to Cross Country Connection to rent your snowshoes/cross country skis and buy your trail pass. Make sure to have someone over 19 to sign the waiver. There are multiple trails ranging from beginner to advanced based on length/elevation change/difficulty. If it's your first time, I recommend the Nature Trail Loop, which takes you through a gorgeous path that weaves in and out of trees and leads you to Lost Lake itself. Maps are provided at Cross Country Connection, but you can just follow the snow shoe signs that are colored a pinkish-red for the Nature Trail Loop. This starts at Cross Country Connection, loops to the lake and comes back. There are many other loops that you can take, but the one that I suggest is the Nature Trail Loop.

I suggest getting there around 3PM to catch some golden rays by the time you reach the lake if you take your time. This is a great alternative if you aren't on the slopes or injured yourself (like me!)
