The Huntington Beach Pier is a great spot for a multitude of activities. If you're looking to bodysurf, surf, swim, jog, or just chill, this is the spot for you. There's plenty of a restaurants nearby, making it the perfect weekday/weekend getaway.
I frequent this location to shoot sunsets by the pier. Overall, it's a nice clean beach thats great for hanging with friends and family.
There are parking lots by the pier as well as parking structures further up. Depending on the lot, parking is $1.50/hr. with a maximum of $15/day.

There’s lots to do in this area, including the beach. Shops, food, bars, but parking can be a bit of a challenge. If you’re looking for quiet and secluded beaches, this is definitely not the place.😜

Every time I am in the area I have to make the stop and walk out onto the Huntington Beach pier then have a bite to eat nearby. Great spot.

Such a fun place to spend a couple hours! My dad lived in Newport and we would travel up and down the coast, visiting all the different piers. This one is at the top of my favorites!

Spent many beach days here as a kid. Great for watching fireworks, picnicking, and swimming with cousins.

Huntington Beach has come a long way from even 10 years ago. There are shops, restaurants, bars and really anything you can think of. With new promenades and places to relax, chill and have a drink, it's becoming an even better beach town. Parking is tough in the summer, so get there early and don't hesitate to go down some side streets to find parking. Bring a great attitude and sense of adventure and have a great time.

I caught a sunrise here and loved it. There was a surf competition going on that was fun to watch as well. It's a great and safe beach for your family too. The seashells are much better here than at any of the other beaches I went to as well if your children are into that thing. Loved taking photos here too. Awesome pier and beach.
