A quick, haunting stroll through the high-desert volcanic landscape of Craters of the Moon National Monument.
The Devil's Orchard is a quick, family friendly stroll through unique volcanic scenery. If you follow the road past the entrance to Craters of the Moon National Monument, the road to Devil's Orchard will be on your left, marked by a sign. You'll drive a minute or two before reaching the parking lot.
The path is a paved, one-way loop, starting on the left. It's great for families and people who don't know much about volcanic rock and wildlife—there are informational plaques at multiple points along the way describing the history of the rock and wildlife formations.

Reviews
This hike was much shorter than I was expecting—and I couldn't decide if I liked the little "about the history and the nature" plaques along the way—but the scenery was undeniably the best you'll find at Craters. The variety of trees, brush, and lava rock formations are really amazing! Don't skip this hike.
