A tremendous view across the Grand Canyon from the North Rim
This is a very easy "hike" at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The drive itself is a little long and winding (keep your eye out for deer that bolt across the narrow road, especially at night), but the easy walk that takes you through a plethora of marked, detailed desert life completed by the Grand Canyon conservationists that ends in an amazing view from the rim is worth it.
The view is better than any view you can get from the South Rim, as you can look into a good portion of the canyon toward the setting sun with an unobstructed view, along with Angel's Window and the Colorado River. Depending on when you go you can be presented with the moon rising above the horizon in the east while the sun is obviously setting to the west. If the moon isn't lighting up the area it's also a wonderful place for some astrophotography because there aren't any lights in the area.
The whole area is handicap accessible.
Careful driving back down at night!
