Easy weekday adventure. Beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and the Seattle skyline.

Although weekend sails are available, this is one of the best ways to get a mid-week fresh air fix in Seattle.

Start with a 1.5 hour sunset sail reservation with Emerald City Charters ( approx. $33 per adult). The day of your sail, pack a bag with blankets, drinks and picnic-style dinner. Catch the boat at the waterfront and enjoy stunning sunset views of both the Seattle skyline and the Olympic Mountains. It's very unlikely you'll have the boat to yourself, however there's enough space to create the vibe you're looking for, whether it be friendly or romantic.

Tip: Get to the loading area early to pick your perfect spot on the boat.

The Puget Sound is beautiful, and the views it offers of the city are wonderful. You can also bike the Puget Sound by taking ferries to the various islands. There's a tour offered by Airbnb that takes groups on this tour!

Did this sail when I was passing through Seattle. It was a fantastic change of scenery from the mountains and the skyline is iconic!

Highly recommend! The Seattle skyline is a photographers dream, and this is a wonderful way to capture. We did a sunset cruise and then chose one of the many restaurants for dinner.
