Kerry Park provides panoramic views of the Seattle city skyline, Space Needle, Elliott Bay, the Olympics, and Mt. Rainier. There's no better place in Seattle to take in the city sights. It's also the perfect location to snap that iconic Seattle photo!

Located at the top of Queen Anne Hill, Kerry Park is a favorite destination for photography. On any given day you'll find tourists and locals relaxing in the park and enjoying the beautiful view.

The park is located in the Queen Anne neighborhood so there is free parking along the streets. If you're heading to the park on a clear and sunny day, or especially for sunset, parking may be tough. I suggest driving a bit further north in to the neighborhood (near 5th Ave W & W Lee St) to find parking. Plus, if you park a few blocks north of the park, you have no excuse not to grab some ice cream at the local's favorite Molly Moon's Ice Cream on Galer Street.

After snapping a few photos of the park (sunset provides beautiful colors!), consider walking to the nearby restaurants and shops of Upper Queen Anne. From the park, walk northeast until you come to the intersection of W Galer St & Queen Anne Ave N. Follow Queen Anne Avenue north to find boutique shopping and delicious food! A few local favorites:

I visited Kerry Park while killing time on a visit to Seattle. I just grabbed a coffee and went. It's worth getting out of the city for a bit- even if only for the photo op. The Seattle skyline is iconic, let's be honest!

One of the best skylines in my opinion! So beautiful. Yea, it's crowded, but not so bad you can't find parking and you butt elbows with people. Like most things, go during the week! Great sunset spot! Enjoy!

Great, possibly best park in the city for views of downtown

The View Is Righteous, Day Or Night. Street Parking On Small Residential Streets, Be Cautious When Driving There. Just chill and take in the view!

Growing up in the Seattle area this was one of the popular spots we would take our visitors from out of state. Great place to watch the sunset and walking distance to many popular bars. My wife and I actually tied the knot here legally before our formal wedding ceremony in Mexico. Good memories here!

Love this spot! Came at golden hour one of my first nights here and was not disappointed! Parking is a little hard to come by right by the park but there is a lot more on 3rd and 4th

Arrived to Kerry park around golden hour and got some amazing shots of the skyline with some incredible color. Around late May so it was a warm night with no clouds. Highly recommend for a summer night

This is one of the best places to view downtown Seattle in my opinion. If you go at night it can be quiet and beautiful with the city lights.

Whenever we have friends in town, we hit up Kerry Park. Great view and easy to get to within Seattle. Plus, there are solid solid restaurants and bars nearby. Make sure you go on a clear day. Much different and more impressive view when you can see Mt. Rainier in the distance.

Best spot on a nice clear night or a perfect Seattle summer day. Great place to bring out of town guests, its the most photographed view of the city so make sure to bring your camera and get your own shot. This place can be crowded especially in the summer, be patient if you want a seat on the park bench. Also be mindful of the residents, this is popular shot in a neighborhood and surrounded by houses and apartments. Bring along a coffee and enjoy the view!
