Description

Added by Korey Taylor

Dubbed "The National Cave of Texas", this adventure certainly does not disappoint. Beautiful caverns and a unique history, there's something for everyone on this tour.

The Longhorn Cavern State Park is a hidden gem in the Hill Country. The caverns are breathtaking and some of the walls are completely covered in Quartz. During prohibition, bootleggers used the caverns as a speakeasy and there are remnants left from that era. In order to view the Caverns you must purchase a ticket for the guided tour. Fun stop with kids

Loved this cave tour. Our guide was awesome and we got to get really close to the bats. They are so small. The story of the cave is super cool.
