Using Photography for Good: Contribute to BC Wildfires 2017
I will be donating 50% of all website sales from www.entwistlephoto.com to the Canadian Red Cross to support those affected by the 2017 BC Wildfire season.
They say that the worst may be yet to come. 2017 has been the worst fire year since 1958 in terms of area burned, and the smoke that has been pouring over the province is an eerie reminder that this emergency is very real.
Smoke in my hometown of whistler B.C.
As I was sitting in my living room the other day due to the fact that it is nearly impossible to enjoy the outdoors due to the smoke, I thought...What can I do to make a positive impact?
I figured that I have been out and about, photographing every corner of our beautiful province for the last 11 years, and that maybe I could somehow use that for good. So, I have decided that every sale during the month of august at www.entwistlephoto.com will go directly to the Canadian Red Cross to help with those who have been affected directly by this year's wildfires. I realize this won't be a donation of many millions (or even thousands) of dollars, but every little bit helps.
So, if you are at all interested, feel free to head over to www.entwistlephoto.com, and check it out. Every image qualifies, as I will be taking the total sales from August, and donating exactly half.
Thank you!
