Among one of many Lighthouses along the Cape Cod National Seashore, Nauset Light should be on any Lighthouse lovers list!

Nauset Light, officially Nauset Beach Light, is a restored lighthouse on the Cape Cod National Seashore near Eastham, Massachusetts, erected in 1923 using the 1877 tower that was moved here from the Chatham Light. It was moved to Eastham in 1923 to replace the Three Sisters of Nauset, three small wood lighthouses that had been decommissioned. They have since been relocated to a small field about 1,000 feet west of the Nauset Light. A short path leads the way from Nauset Light.

Visitors can tour the light and the oil house on Sundays from May to late October and also on Wednesdays during July and August.

If time allows take a walk down the stairs from the parking area and visit the Nauset Light Beach.

Visit Nauset Lighthouse

With the beach so close, this is a great hike to do. You could spend a few hours here walking the beach and seeing the lighthouse. Lots of wildlife too. I’ve seen seals and whales from the shore. With more time you can drive a few miles south to another parking area with beach access.
