Cincinnati, Ohio

Description

Added by Lucas Bremer

A great urban park for a man who was once a Supreme Court Justice and the President of the United States.

Take a change of pace in the middle of a busy city. This Historical Home and surrounding park are a great place to relax, have a picnic, or take a tour through history of a former President.

Start your visit at the Taft Education Center which has many exhibits on the history correlated with Taft and get your National Park stamp then take a guided tour of the Taft House. Tours operate daily.

There is also a picnic area behind the home and a path that leads in a loop around the grounds.

If you want some added exercise, the neighborhood surrounding the park are designated on the National Register of Historic Places and make for a great urban stroll or bike ride.
