Description

A beautifully scenic walk across one of the most famous bridges in America

Join the thousands of people who cross the GWB each day, but do it by foot! This is an easy walk with beautiful views of the New York City skyline. You will begin seeing signs for the bridge bike path at Ft. Washington St. & E. 177th St., which you follow for a few blocks until you begin ascending up onto the bridge. The bike path is the same path that you will use as a pedestrian as there is only one path available for bikers, walkers, and runners.

The walk to the other side and back takes no longer than 35-40 minutes.

Reviews

I'd do the Brooklyn Bridge instead of this one. Go early to avoid the tourists on either bridge.
