Watch a Sunset at Schwabacher Landing
Moose, Wyoming
Description

Gorgeous photography opportunity. Amazing backdrop of the Tetons. Great opportunity to watch wildlife.
When you think of iconic Grand Teton viewpoints, Schwabacher Landing is at the top of that list. The mirror-like reflection of the Tetons is absolutely stunning and you will often find hoards of photographers here. It's still worth the crowds, and I would even go so far as to say its my absolute favorite place in the entire park. You have to experience the beauty there to really understand.
Along with incredible scenery here, is also the opportunity to wildlife watch. Beavers are abundant at the landing. This place is spectacular at all times of the day, but it really comes alive at sunrise and sunset. If you come to Grand Teton and can only see one thing, I highly suggest Schwabacher Landing.

Spectacular color, chances to see wildlife, and one of the best views of the Teton Range await you at this classic spot in the park. Dusk is often the time you will see wildlife, including the playful beavers who make their homes here. If you are a photographer (or even if you are not) make sure to walk down the path for different compositions and views of the mountains. This place can be a little hard to find if you've never been so do your research on where to go before your visit.

One of my favorite places in the park is here. It's hard to have a bad sunset even if there aren't any clouds in the sky. It's a must-stop destination if you're coming to Grand Teton National Park. The best time to see the Tetons reflected in the water would be around sunrise and sunset as the wind has usually died down around then.

This is one of the best places in the park to get photographs. The still waters created by the beaver dams gives you incredible reflections of the Tetons. There will be lots of other photographers, but it is very worth it.

Whatever you're seeking you will find it here. Whether to share a moment with family or a romantic evening. As far as views of these amazing peaks with such ease it doesn't get better than this.

One of my favorite spots in the park. I've had numerous great sunsets and sunrises as well the occasional moose or other wildlife.

What time is sunset in July? We are going to visit the area and would love to get beautiful pictures before the sun goes behind the mountains, and wait for the sunset itself.
As Christina says, this location has incredible views of the Tetons during sunrise and sunset. As a suggestion, follow the trail past the first pond and through some trees. You will find a great reflection of the Tetons in a beaver pond framed with some fir trees which makes for a great photo.
