Waterfall Canyon is a trail to a 200-Foot Waterfall with views of Ogden City. Dogs are allowed and there is a parking lot at the trailhead.
Waterfall Canyon is one of the most popular hikes in the Ogden area. The trailhead is easy to find, just head east on 29th street until you hit the base of the mountains and the parking lot is on the right. There are plenty of parking spots and restrooms but sometimes the restrooms are locked.
Take the trail until it meets up with the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. You will pass a fence with signs reminding you that you're on private property, and a few old water towers that are no longer in use. The trail will start to get really steep. Shortly after you cross the bridge over the small stream there is a fork where you turn left. From this point on, the trail is a little rocky. Eventually you will be led right to the base of the waterfall.
Dogs are allowed on this trail (they should be leashed) and there is a little water for them to play in and cool down in. The waterfall has been very dry the last couple of years but the best time to visit is still the spring when it should have the most water.

Reviews
Great hike to a waterfall. Strenuous for the last mile. Like a stair step made out of large boulders. Just trickling after a drought summer but still stunning. Amazing views of the Ogden valley.
