White Water Raft on the Soca River

White water rafting is a great way experience the river, especially if you are with a group of friends. Alternatively you can also kayak. Either way, I highly suggest you book a tour with one of the local operators because they know the river best and can evaluate where to bring you depending on the current water level.

If you drive to the little town Bovec, you will find an abundance of rafting providers, we booked a tour with Soca Riders and they have been amazing. The boat fits up to 8 people and we spent 1.5h rafting through rapids, jumping and sliding into the ice cold river. They also offer single or multiple day kayak courses if you want to learn how to navigate through the river yourself.
