Your Basecamp for Adventure in Park City, Utah
The center of adventure and summertime fun in Utah.
There are times when we want to be remote, and far from civilization, and times when we want to be in the heart of it all, while not giving up access to great recreation.
Enter Newpark Resort in Park City, Utah.
Newpark Resort is less than 30 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City and makes for a refreshing escape from the heat and hectic pace of summer in the city. The hotel is within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops, and a brewery, and getting around is easy with e-bikes or the free Park City Transit bus to Park City Mountain, Deer Valley Resort, and historic downtown Park City.
When you're in Park City, don't miss out on some of our favorite summer adventures!
Mountain Biking

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, with over 450 miles of trails, there is a trail for you in and around Park City. Plenty of shops offer mountain bike rentals if you aren't able to bring your own, but Breeze Rentals located in the lobby of Newpark Resort offers guests a 30% discount on rentals. A few ride options include hitting up the lift-serviced trails at Deer Valley, scheduling a shuttle to ride the epic Wasatch Crest Trail or doing hot laps at Park City Mountain.
For something even closer to Newpark Resort, take a cruiser bike alongside beautiful Swaner Preserve, a 1,200-acre nature preserve managed by Utah State University, or hop on a mountain bike and grind your gears on the Glenwild Trail System which was once a stop on the Pony Express.
Hiking

From the Uinta Mountains to Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons in the Wasatch Mountains, there are more trails in the greater Park City area than you'll ever be able to tackle on a trip. You'd have to move here...but that wouldn't be so bad either, would it?
Waterfalls, mountain vistas, alpine lakes, and forests await. Some of our favorite trails include the hike to Bell Canyon's waterfall, the traverse of Fantasy Ridge, the trek to Lake Catherine, and the views from Silver Lake Trail in Deer Valley.
Explore and Eat

When your adventure itch is satisfied, and your legs are tired, spend a day exploring the Park City area. Visit the Utah Olympic Park and take a bobsled ride or check out a freestyle jumping show every Saturday and Sunday during the summer, take a drive to beautiful Guardsman Pass, or check out the wildflowers at Albion Basin. Take the complimentary trolley up and down Main Street in downtown Park City to experience dozens of boutiques, galleries, and restaurants, or hop over to Salt Lake City to check out the sights.
Sip and taste within walking distance of Newpark Resort at restaurants like Hearth & Hill, Barotolo's, Kneaders Bakery & Cafe, and Red Rock Brewing.
