Zion National Park Bus stop 8
Washington County, Utah
Description
Added by Jared Beeler
Escape from the crowds and lots of people and explore the small bus stop with access to the gorgeous river.
According to the park, there is nothing at this spot, so not many people stop. If you do not like large crowds, this is the perfect place to stop. There is a small trail that leads to the river and a beautiful vista with the massive canyon walls on all sides. There are several areas in this part of the river that are great for swimming or fishing. The area also offers a good bit of shade in some areas that is great for picnics or cooling off. The shuttle runs here every 15 minutes or quicker, so it gives you lots of options to stay for a long time for just a few minutes. There is another trail that runs along side the river and goes all the way back to the next 2 bus stops so if you want to make the trail longer or just walk down the river, this is a good way to go.

Reviews
Better places around, but definitely less people. Not much to do compared to the other stops, but if you want a quick place for a break, then this is the place.

I felt that there are so much better things to see and do in Zion, that this was kinda underwhelming. So consider it if you have plenty of time and have done most of the other things, or need some time off the more crowded places.

I stopped here to get off the bus and explore. There really wasn't much here to see
