Description

Added by Julia Dawson

Short, steep hike to Zion's Weeping Rock. The trail is paved but the concrete is a bit broken up and the trail is steep so it's not the best hike for strollers or wheelchairs.

This trail begins at the Weeping Rock parking lot. You must cross a stream on a bridge and then follow the trail to the left.

The trail is nice and cool at the top and you may get some mist or water on you from the weeping rock. Perfect to cool you off after the steep trek up to the rock! It's not quite a waterfall, but rather a massive rock that drips water as if it were crying. The trail is pretty popular as it is the shortest in the park, so expect to be hiking with other people.

Reviews

This is an easy and popular hike in Zion Canyon. It's worth the stop as you explore Zion Canyon. I stopped at Weeping Rock before hiking to the top of Angels Landing.
